Special Mass on 3 of November

Honoring the Saints and Praying for the Departed

November is a special month in the life of the Church—a time when we lift our hearts in gratitude and prayer for those who have gone before us. On All Saints’ Day (November 1), we celebrate the countless men and women who now share in the joy of God’s presence. These saints, known and unknown, are a reminder that holiness is possible for each of us, and that life in Christ extends beyond this world.

The very next day, All Souls’ Day (November 2), invites us to turn our prayers to all the faithful departed. In remembering those who have died, we acknowledge a profound truth: we are all part of God’s family, united across time and eternity. Our prayers, Masses, and acts of love help the souls of the departed on their journey toward God’s fullness of life.

In our parish, it is a cherished tradition to offer a special Mass for all those who have died in the past year. Since this year November 2 falls on a Sunday, this Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 3 at 7:00 pm. I warmly invite everyone to join us, to pray for our beloved dead, and to reflect on the hope that Christ’s victory over death brings to all who believe.

Let us come together in prayer and remembrance, trusting in God’s mercy and celebrating the gift of eternal life.
