Dear Parishioners,
As many of you are aware, schools across Alberta are currently facing a challenging time due to the ongoing strike action. This situation has deeply affected students, families, teachers, and staff throughout our communities.
As a parish, we stand in solidarity with all those impacted and especially with our children, whose education and well-being must remain at the heart of every decision. We lift our prayers for wisdom, compassion, and understanding for all parties
involved in the negotiations. May they work together in good faith to reach a fair and lasting agreement—one that upholds the dignity of educators and ensures the best possible future for our young people.
We invite you to join us in prayer this week, asking God to guide our leaders and bring about a peaceful and just resolution for the benefit of all.
Lord, may Your Spirit inspire cooperation, patience, and unity in this time of difficulty. Bless our children, their teachers, and all families affected. Amen.
